Principal Infrastructure Inspector

Planning and Development Services seeks a qualified individual to fill the position of Principal Infrastructure Inspector. This key position will be responsible for inspecting land development and land subdivision projects throughout Kenton County ensuring that they are built per the approved construction drawing package and in accordance with the Kenton County Subdivision Regulations.  This position works under the supervision of the Director of Infrastructure Engineering.

 

Required qualifications include: Graduate of a College, University or Community College with a Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree in engineering technology, construction management, geology, earth science, or related field in addition to at least five (5) years of job experience in a related field.  High School graduates will be considered with a minimum of seven (7) years applicable job experience. Candidates must demonstrate skills in communication, public relations, municipal management practices, and civil site preparation and geotechnical engineering principles.

 

Salary: $48K-$75K DOQ; a comprehensive benefits package is included. The successful candidate must pass a post-offer drug screening.
