Departments

Planning and Development Services of Kenton County is organized so that every part of planning, development, and community growth in Kenton County gets focused, expert attention.

PDS is led by an Executive Director with broad experience across planning, zoning, and development, and a strong commitment to effective administration, community leadership, and engagement. PDS is made up of seven departments, each focused on a different part of how our community grows and develops:

• Administration
• Building Codes Administration
• Community Development
• GIS Administration
• Infrastructure Engineering
• Planning
• Zoning Administration and Code Enforcement

Each department has its own director or manager who guides day-to-day operations and ensures the team delivers for the community. All department leaders report to the Executive Director, keeping everything connected and working toward the same goals.
