How We’re Organized
Planning and Development Services of Kenton County is organized to ensure that every aspect of planning, development, and community growth in Kenton County receives dedicated, knowledgeable oversight.
PDS is led by an executive director who brings the training and experience in planning and zoning required under state law (KRS 147.670(2)). PDS is made up of seven departments, each focused on a different part of how our community grows and develops:
- Administration
- Building Codes Administration
- Community Development
- GIS Administration
- Infrastructure Engineering
- Planning
- Zoning Administration and Code Enforcement
Each department has its own leader who guides day-to-day operations and ensures the team delivers for the community. All department leaders report to the executive director, keeping everything connected and working toward the same goals.
